Cambridge University student Alastair Ward, 22, was visiting the island last month to celebrate his graduation, when he stumbled across the busy bloodbath.

  4. Do you think slaughtering sheep and caws not less chickens, hundreds and thousands in line is “humane”? Killing and eating meat is the problem!

  5. Considering the size of these poor animals, it is like someone tries to kill a person with small razor blade, as slow and as painful. I wonder how they haven’t come up with a quicker way of killing. Honestly with all the other sources of protein available to these people I don’t believe it is necessary to slaughter whales. unfortunately these rituals keeps these communities together.
