[custom_adv] Kamyar Ahmadzadeh was born on November 28, 1978 and raised in Paris, France since the age of two. He attended music conservatory school for eight years, with the piano as his primary instrument. [custom_adv] During this time, Kamyar focused on mixing traditional Middle Eastern music with Jazz/Blues. Before music became his profession, Kamyar attended the University of Sorbonne Nouvelle in Paris, where he studied English. [custom_adv] At the age of 18, Kamyar realized his passion for singing as well, and was mainly influenced by R&B, Soul and Funk, with Stevie Wonder as a major source of inspiration. [custom_adv] But the path to realizing his dream of becoming a professional musician was not an easy one, as many of his early performances started on the streets and metro stations, alongside his best friend and partner Hakim Rachek. [custom_adv] In 2003, Kamyar left Paris and arrived in Los Angeles in order to pursue his music career in the Persian market and found success as the new lead singer of the popular Persian band called "Black Cats". [custom_adv] With his unique style of Persian R&B and his ability to sing in over seven languages, Kamyar became an overnight music sensation in the Persian community. To date, he has toured in the UK, Canada, Europe, the Middle East, and the US at venues such as the Kodak Theater, Universal Gibson Amphitheater, Nokia Theatre and Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas.
