Nicknamed “Great Mall of China”, Golden Resources Mall was designed from the beginning as the largest shopping mall in the world. However, it held that distinction for just one year. Located in a northwestern part of China’s capital, the mall has failed to attract foreigners living in Beijing. Due to the high prices, Chinese also disliked shopping here and the mall is far from its full capacity.
