Fahriye Evcen (born 4 June 1986) is a Turkish actress, best known for her roles as Necla Tekin on Yaprak Dökümü based on the novel by Reşat Nuri Güntekin, and as Feride in the TV series Çalıkuşu, based on the novel by Reşat Nuri Güntekin. Evcen was born in Solingen, Germany. She is of Circassian origin from maternal side and her paternal family are Turkish who immigrated from Kavala. She studied sociology for one year in Germany. At the age 19, she moved to Turkey where she studied history at Boğaziçi University in Istanbul, graduating in 2014. Fahriye speaks Turkish, German, English, and Spanish fluently.
