Back to Cliffhanger, a 1993 movie, I remember a lot of scenes that make it an incredible piece of entertainment. Its aerial rope stunt is classed by the Guinness Book of World Records as the most expensive aerial stunt ever. It involved British stuntman Simon Crane who climbs a rope between two airplanes the height of 15,000 feet– without a safety harness. The movie made $250 million at the box office worldwide, and earned three Academy Award nominations for Best Sound, Best Sound Effects Editing, and Best Visual Effects.
